"fix" the video? Exactly how were you planning to fix it? *lost*

Mom, you need to close a tag properly, double quotes =P

My Thanksgiving weekend kind of stunk, but that's okay! Because it's over now, for the most part, and soon, I will be out of UMass and in Duxbury for over a month. Crazy things. I need to get a job during January. If anybody knows of anything (that could be done by simple me), then drop me a line, sugar buns. Right. Anyway, I'm glad you had fun, Emily, and I'm glad you might maybe sorta kinda had fun, Louis... err... YAY! Happy belated birthday, Ken!

i spent a good deal of last weekend in a computer lab. semester ends soon. then i'll have time to fix the photo system and not code for a bit. what a concept.

Hey are there any Cure fans in the room? The new "Greatest Hits" album came out recently and I believe there're 2 new tracks, has anyone heard them?

Hey Louis, I may have some photos to put up soon, although I'm by no means a photographer, I do seem to enjoy it so after I get the slides scanned I'll put them up, add one more to the fold.

*poof*

Last night I saw Dispatch. They were great, and I was absolutely ecstatic to get backstage passes. The only bad part was the large number of Duxbury kids in the crowd who came to the show without ever hearing them before. I also liked the opening acts: Zen, Jeep, and Entrain.

louis, 14:36: #

it's november 17. have you wished sidney a happy birthday yet?

louis, 11:27: #

methinks you should major in comparitive drinking or synchronized swimming.

Question of the day: What should Emily major in?

2001-11-14

Jus, 01:50: #

okay, jeez, methinks I need to click on one of those "soulive" words...

2001-11-12

louis, 21:40: #

Silly Louis, everybody knows that capitalism is the only way to live. And when I say capitalism, I mean capitalism of the soul. Right, anyway. Somebody said this today, and I wanted to slap him: "I am not insensitive, simply doing what I want." Okay, not only is that kid on grammatical crack, but he is also a huge anus. He was talking about how he doesn't care what's wrong with his roommate, and so he more or less ignores him and does what he wants. I thought not caring about other people was insensitivity. Whatever. This kid is possibly the most annoying person I have ever met. And I have pictures. Weeee!!! Good luck with your work, Emily. Try punching it in the face if it won't go away... take care, everybody, and have fun!!

louis, 08:38: #

whoa. sarah, didn't expect you to suggest capitalism. i suppose that i could become capitalism's poster child by taking over the in-the-lab coffee market. this assumes, of course, that everyone else likes his or her coffee as strong as i like mine to be. ("i like my coffee like i like my men…")

Smarples, 20:38: #

Get a coffee machine, and charge people to use it. Forget socializing! Further capitalist evil! You will be the Coffee God and they will all bow down before you! And then if there's time, maybe, you can talk it up with them... Anyhoo, I figure that all the geeks already have something in common that would bring them together if they're spending so much time there... they might not be too big into the socializing thing, either. Yahoo. Have fun!

louis, 11:17: #

so i've been spending quite a bit of time in the unix labs at tufts lately, doing this oop/gui project in java. it's fun, but i must say, they really should get a coffee machine in this place. with all the geeks herein, it's a shame there's not something to bring us together. mayhaps i will bring in my own to commence the obligatory socialization. that implies, of course, that i'd have to socialize, which is something i'm not sure i want to do right now. hmm. maybe i won't bring in the coffee machine, after all. food for thought, anyway.

I don't know how many of you guys watched The VH1 Concert for New York City, but I have been downloading many of the awesome songs from it, and I highly recommend checking them out. My favorites are The Who, Billy Joel, and Eric Clapton.

Radiohead is oh so very awesome... and their concert at Suffolk Downs this summer was so great! ROCK!! I hope everyone is having a good time with everything they're doing!! And perhaps if I know you and we haven't been in touch, I'll try to contact you or you can try to contact me. Mwa ha ha ha, then I can tell you all about my... err.... crazy times at the UMass... weeee!!! Have fun!! No alarms and no surprises, please... (Weezer also rocks. And their concert at the Tweeter Center rocked hardcore.) Have fun!

I second that. I almost wept when I lost my original "the bends" CD in a damn hotel room...

For anyone who'll bother, take some time, and vote on a cute kid.

louis, 14:47: #
