so emily copied a trance cd for me for the holidays, and i've been listening to it quite a bit. there doesn't seem to be much behind the music per se, but it's wicked fun to work to. i've been listening to that (trance party, volume 1, for those who care) and to brooklyn kid's see also: volume 1 betwixt the usual dmb, dave brubeck, coltrane, and frederick fennell recordings. if you've got any recommendations for me to check out, e-mail me.
i went through all of my previous [ both posted and non-posted ] photos and either re-did or included some previously neglected photos. i enjoyed looking back: i have a less weighted perspective on which photos i like and which are actually good. i hope you enjoy them. as always, if you're looking for a good place to enjoy others' photos, visit pixel pile or any other pixel pile member's site..
So, Nice to see the site back up. I hope everyone is having a nice break. I was amazed by the powerful of a simple effort last night when a group of my friends and I went caroling. We sung outside the door of a man who is dying of cancer, and both he and his wife were crying tears of joy by the time we left. It truly is the little things that we can do, whether we realize it or not.
In other news I finnally got out of school yesterday. Thank goodness. I am headed down to my grandmother's house in NJ for a few days after christmas. I hope you all are doing well.
so what am i doing, you might ask? it's finals time at Tufts. that makes for a busy me. i'm also compiling new photos, updating the photos database, and thinking about tweaking the design a bit. we'll see.
