Strange things keep happening. People keep growing. Life keeps evolving.Although this blog may not be everything you hoped for [yet], it is as you are, and intrinsically tied to your evolution/changes/growth, when you feel complete, no doubt so will this project, and we will all be better for it.
I envy the hugs you feel safe in, only because my hugs have gone back to the virtual kind, the hugs wrapped in zeros and ones, the hugs with a cold flux of data behind them.
I for one look forward to your return, enjoy the interim, don't lose grasp of the happiness you're about to find.

need a back pack? want to deal with an über-reliable company who makes cool shit? i've got the answer for you, my friend. spire. i picked up an endo after i saw ken's. the other day [ ok, so maybe two or three months ago… ], one of the pins in the bag's strap came off. as a result, the strap still held the bag well, it just didn't stay on. not that big of a deal, but annoying over time.so, finally, i decided to ask them if i can buy a new one. i didn't see any accessories listed on their site, and noted that the endo is currently out of stock [ perhaps they're making the endo 2002? ], so i didn't set my hopes high. much to my joy, i got an e-mail back from them in several minutes asking me for my address. they're just going to send me a new one. now that is good customer support. did i mention that spire rocks?

so i went to see in the bedroom last night with my friend kate. for those of you who aren't familiar with the plot, it's a bit heavy: the story of a couple dealing with the violent death of their son. the acting was convincing, and the plot enveloping, but i was really disturbed by the high level of violence in the film. granted, i'm a wuss, and it's sad that not being a wuss is commonplace these days, but i didn't really want to see someone get shot, and then have a nice close-up of the dead person. i felt similarly when i was checking out footage of the riots around the genoa g8 meeting. anyhoo - it's worth seeing if you're not in a fragile mood.2002-02-09

backward compatible style switcher now available from a list apart. it's definitely a good read. i suggest the following modifications which you may like to implement:- You can include a default stylesheet for browsers with javascript disabled by using:
<noscript><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/includes/style.css" /></noscript>
For example, if you're browsing with any 5+ browser, your browser will do the CSS just fine. NS4 won't be able to use the CSS because its CSS engine relies on JavaScript to run. - When creating input buttons, you may want to use:
<form action="javascript:return true;">
instead of:
<form action="">
because pages that use <base href="http://www.foo.com/" /> will have the form go to the href specified by <base /> (in this case, http://www.foo.com/).

there were an estimated 1.2 million people out to see yesterday's parade (learn more from a cnnsi article. twenty five rows of people along each side of the street [ i was there early enough to get in the fifth row. ] sadly, as i had class [ damn college ], i had to leave after the parade, so there's no photos of the post-parade celebration. also, as i've taken my photoblog down for an overhaul [ you'll love it! ], i'll just put a link to a directory of photos from the parade. enjoy.2002-02-05

You should've heard the Ram fans though, "they were so lucky, if only...", YEAH, of only what? If only your quarterback had even MORE time to throw a pass at EVERY snap? What? You would've lost in overtime? Riiiight.2002-02-04
